The Intrepid Travellers: JOURNEY'S END

Our last day in Hong Kong saw us taking a half day tour of Hong Kong Island after breakfast. As usual we were picked up by the tour operator at our hotel. The weather was still warm but as we drove to our first stop off we had a heavy shower.
Victoria Peak was where we headed first & in order to reach the summit we caught the
tram. The journey took about 8 minutes. From the top you got a good view looking down on the city.

Our tour bus had driven to the summit to collect us to take us to our next destination, Aberdeen, a fishing village where the fishermen & families live on their boats.

From Aberdeen we headed to the Northern tip of the Island, Stanley, & another market visit.

Arriving back at the hotel after lunch & oncemore the sun was shining. We decided to spend the rest of our stay making use of the facilities as we only had to check out by 5 o'clock. Our taxi to the airport was booked for 7.30 as the flight home was scheduled to depart at 11.15pm.

The time was spent in the Executive lounge of the hotel, where we well looked after by the very efficient & friendly team who work there. Before we left some of them posed for the camera.
